Beach at Surfers

Aaron and i went down to the gold coast again today. We just got back from there on Monday and there we went again today. its just thursday! it was a 2 hour rides but its worth it. We left at 9.30am and arriving there at 11.30. Aaron had an appointment with Boom Hair Studio at 12.30 and so i walked around by myself. Wanted so badly to go to Duty Free Shop but was afraid that i might spend on something in there. So better not go there just in case! Went for ice rock lemon sorbet while waiting for aaron to be ready. We then went to Wa-gamma Japanese restaurant on Chevron Renaissance for Lunch! It was worth the money...then we went to buy naugats and headed to the beach for swim. Stayed there until 6pm. The sun wasn't that strong today and hopefully i don't get sun burn and tan. Had shower openly on the beach and changed in a toilet smell so badly of urine... then went for japanese again. I had curry rice for dinner and aaron had ramyen. Both meals were nice...then we had copenhangen for dessert...yum yum...it was a fun one....hope there will be more in store ahead of us....

Xmas on the Gold Coast

Elayne, Ruth, Valen, Aaron and I went down to Gold Coast on Christmas Day. The purpose of this trip was for the boxing day sale, the next day, 26th Dec. We stayed at Vibe hotel on Surfers Paradise and it was formerly known as Concorde Hotel. The room that we stayed in was a newly-renovated room! Even the sofa bed was new and we had to remove the plastic from the bed. I love the Interior..it was fabulous...We went swimming and body boarding on surfers. The rain shooee--ed us away and we headed for Gelato at Renaissance. We played Kaleidoscope Classics, Rummikub and "In Between". I won a game of Rummikub! Yippeee! Dinner was at a Korean Restaurant. Most of the shops was closed on Christmas day. Even the bottle shop was closed too..Wanted XXXX (mind you, its a queensland beer) so badly and no shop open as Xmas day was the only time that all bottle shop and pubs has to closed for business.

The next day, its shopping day! Went to pacific fair...the traffic was like hell! spent 45 minutes going round and round searching for parking and then aaron and i decided to park at conrad jupiter and walked over to pacific fair. it was so much easier than going round and round. Didn't do much shopping here as it was so packed with people and i hate shopping in a crowd. Then we went to harbour town! yippeee bought a pair of chuck taylor converse shoe, a tote from canterbury and a pair of shorts from canterbury! hehehehe...i love my new tote, shoes and shorts! ;-)

alrighty..got to go now..going bodyboarding again tomolo!!! tata!

Edited: How could i missed out such a memorable time in Gold Coast. We went for the beach cinema watching "christmas with the kranks". Aaron won VIP seats for us on a bean bags sponsored by Seven Network. I still can't believe that we were given such an opportunity to be able to watch the movie as VIPs. We don't have to dig our own holes on the sand to build a "chair"....we got to sit on a bean bags and had KFC while watching the movies...Yeah!!! Yeah!!

Reachin' For Heaven Lyrics

Artist: Diana DeGarmo Lyrics
Song: Reachin' For Heaven Lyrics

All my life
There was just me and my dreams
And the days went tickin’ by
Like the beat of my heart

Spend my nights
Wonderin’ how it would feel
When the waiting would end
And tomorrow would start
Suddenly I see the light
Out of the darkness I’m comin’ alive

So this is how it feels
Reachin’ for heaven
This is how it feels
Kissin’ the sky
This is what it means
Touching forever
Like a phoenix rising from the flames
I’m reachin’ for heaven

All this time
I never knew I was so strong
But you made me find the fire
That was there all along
In your eyes
I can see all I can be
Suddenly I want it all
And I know you’ll catch me if ever I fall

So this is how it feels
Reachin’ for heaven
And this is how it feels
Kissin’ the sky
This is what it means
Touching forever
Like a phoenix rising from the flames
I’m reachin’ for heaven

You alone have shown me
Shining new hope rises now for all
I owe you
It’s my turn to show you

This is how it feels
Reachin’ for heaven
And this is how it feels
Kissin’ the sky
This is what it means
Touching forever
Like a phoenix rising from the flames
I’m reachin’ for heaven
Reachin’ for heaven

This is how it feels
Kissin’ the sky
This is what it means
Touching forever
Like a phoenix rising from the flames
I’m reachin’ for heaven
Reachin’ for heaven

Breakfast at McDonald's .. ...

I got this from an email too......Enjoy....

I am a mother of three (ages 14, 12, 3) and have recently completed my
college degree.

The last class I had to take was! Sociology.

The teacher was absolutely inspiring with the qualities that I wish
every
human being had been graced with.

Her last project of the term was called "Smile."

The class was asked to go out and smile at three people and document
their
reactions.

I am a very friendly person and always smile at everyone and say hello
anyway, so, I thought this would be a piece of cake, literally.

Soon after we were assigned the project, my husband, youngest son, and
I
went out to McDonald's one crisp March morning.

It was just our way of sharing special playtime with our son.

We were! standing in line, waiting to be served, when all of a sudden
everyone around us began to bac k away, and then even my husband did.

I did not move an inch... an overwhelming feeling of panic welled up
inside
of me as I turned to see why they had moved.

As I turned around I smelled a horrible "dirty body" smell, and there
standing behind me were two poor homeless men.

As I looked down at the short gentleman, close to me, he was "smiling".

His beautiful sky blue eyes were full of God's Light as he searched for
acceptance.

He said, "Good day" as he counted the few coins he had been clutching.

The second man fumbled with his hands as he stood behind his friend. I
realized the second man was mentally challenged and the blue-eyed
gentleman
was his salvation.

I held my tears as I stood there with them.

The young lady at the counter asked him what they wanted.

He said, "Coffee is all Miss" because that was all they could afford.
(If
they wanted to sit in the restaurant and warm up, they had to buy
something.
He just wanted to be warm).

Then I really felt it - the compulsion was so great I almost reached
out and
embraced the little man with the blue eyes.

That is when I noticed all eyes in the restaurant were set on me,
judging my
every action.

I smiled and asked the young lady behind the counter to give me two
more
breakfast meals on a separate tray.

I then walked around the corner to the table that the men had chosen as
a
resting spot. I put the tray on the table and laid my hand on the
blue-eyed
gentleman's cold hand.

He looked up at me, with tears in his eyes, and said, "Thank you."

I leaned over, began to pat his hand and said, "I did not do this for
you.
God is here working through me to give you hope."

I started to cry as I walked away to join my husband and son. When I
sat
down my husband smiled at me and said, "That is why God gave you to me,
Honey, to give me hope."

We held hands for a moment and at that time, we knew that only because
of
the Grace that we had been given were we able to give.

We are not church goers, but we are believers.

That day showed me the pure Light of God's sweet love. I returned to
college, on the last evening of class, with this st ory in hand.

I turned in "my project" and the instructor read it.

Then she looked up at me and said, "Can I share this?"

I slowly nodded as she got the attention of the class.

She began to read and that is when I knew that we as human beings and
being
part of God share this need to heal people and to be healed.

In my own way I had touched the people at McDonald's, my husband, son,
instructor, and every soul that shared the classroom on the last night
I
spent as a college student.

I graduated with one of the biggest lessons I would ever learn:
UNCONDITIONAL ACCEPTANCE !.

Much love and compassion is sent to each and every person who may read
this
and learn how to LOVE PEOPLE AND USE THINGS - NOT LOVE THINGS AND USE
PEOPLE.

Unusual Funeral

I got this email from a friend....Its funny...read it.....

A man was leaving a cafe with his morning coffee when he noticed a  most unusual funeral procession. A funeral coffin was followed by a second one about 50 feet behind the first.

Behind the second coffin was a solitary man walking with a black dog.
Behind him was a queue of 200 men walking in single line.

The man couldn't stand his curiosity. He approached the man walking with the dog, "I am so sorry for your loss, and I know now is a bad time to disturb you, but I've never seen a funeral like this with so many of you walking in single line. Whose funeral is it?"

The man replied, "Well, that firs t coffin is for my wife."
The inquisitive man asked, "What happened to her?"

The man replied, "My dog attacked and killed her."

He inquired further, "Well, who is in the second coffin?"
The man answered, "My mother-in-law. She was trying to help my wife
when the dog attacked and killed her also."

A thoughtful moment of silence passes between the two men.

Then the first one asks in excitement "Can I borrow the dog?"

The man replied "Please join the queue."

I can only imagine

This is a nice song called "I can only imagine" by Mercy Me. It is a christian song. It really touched my heart everytime i listen to it. I hope this songs means something to you too. Have a nice day, fellow brothers and sisters who are reading this! *hugs*

"I can only imagine what it will be like, when I walk by Your side...
I can only imagine, what my eyes will see, when Your Face is before me!
I can only imagine. I can only imagine.

Surrounded by Your Glory, what will my heart feel?
Will I dance for you, Jesus? Or in awe of You, be still?
Will I stand in Your presence, or to my knees will I fall?
Will I sing 'Hallelujah!'? Will I be able to speak at all?
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!

I can only imagine, when that day comes, when I find myself standing in the Son!
I can only imagine, when all I will do, is forever, forever worship You!
I can only imagine! I can only imagine!

Yeah! I can only imagine!

Yeah! I can only imagine!

I can only imagine! Yeah! I can only imagine!! Only imagine!!!
I can only imagine.

I can only imagine, when all I do is forever, forever worship You!
I can only imagine."

Appendix Operation

A close of friend of mine will most probably undergo an appendix operation today at 7am (Malaysian Time). I just received the message around 1am early this morning. I would like to lift him up to our Lord, Pray that the doctor that is going to operate on him would do a good job and the nurses that help the doctor would also do accordingly to the right procedures. I pray for speedy healing and ask God to send his angel to watch over him as they undergo the operation on him. I pray all this in Jesus's name, Amen.

To those who know who am i talking about, Please keep me updated on his condition, K. Thank You.

I typed in the exact words but yet it continue asking me for another one and so on. It irritates me and so i guess i would have to stick to MSN my Space then! ;o))
